This bill is long overdue and pure common sense. No one should serve in Congress while holding citizenship in a foreign country. America demands total loyalty from its leaders, not split allegiances that put Somalia or any other nation first.
Ilhan Omar and others like her have no business making laws for Americans while keeping one foot in another country. Dual citizens in powerful positions create constant conflicts of interest and undermine our sovereignty. Time to end the nonsense.
